4 Stars Volleyball for your elementary school kids
This volleyball is lighter and softer than a regular volleyball. It doesn’t hurt my little girl’s hands(a fifth grader) when she practicing or playing it. It is being used in her league at local school’s sport activities for 12 and under. Cheaper at Amazon.com than local Sport Authority store.
5 Stars Feel Good Ball
I normally use the Tachikara sv5w leather ball, but I bought this lighter ball for my 7yr old daughter. In the summer she used an adult beach volleyball with me but those balls are much too heavy for her.
I bought this lighter ball so it is easier for her to learn how to play. It is soft/cushiony for kids and has a lively bounce to it when you bump it. I’m very happy with the quality of the ball. It’s not one of the cheap plastic like balls you can get for kids.
5 Stars Standard Youth Volleyball
I coach youth volleyball. These are the same balls we use during practice and games for our JV team. They are made for indoor use, but my daughter uses hers outside all the time and it has held up. I would suggest using these for 6th grade girls and lower. Once the girls move up to 7th grade and beyond, they should be using a regular weight volleyball. Be careful with the pictures .. I ordered what appeared to be a magenta ball .. turned out to be red/scarlet. Be sure to check the descriptive text once it is in your in-tray.
4 Stars Good product!
This is the same ball that my daughter’s league v-ball team uses. She has been able to practice at home which has improved her game. It also came in her favorite color - pink - which is SO cool.
5 Stars Great for kids
This is a very well made indoor volleyball for my eight year old daughter. It is much lighter than a regulation ball, but is still the same size. I highly recommend it for kids.

5 Stars The backpackers’ compass…
If you are a light-weight backpacker and need a compass then this is a good one. However, you can use your watch as a compass, so…
4 Stars Inexpensive beginners compass
I received this compass as part of an introductory Orienteering class. It was good for learning the basics of using a map, finding North, and shooting a bearing. It was NOT very good for sighting distant objects, so I gave it to my son and purchased a better compass with a mirrored top and sighting slot. Ok for what it is, but for a little more you can get better features.
